The Kupper Automotive Best Price Philosophy is based on five areas that we believe are critical to business success.

Our philosophy holds that all are of equal importance. However, in any planning or decision making process, Customer Enthusiasm will always carry the most weight.

 

Our goal is to create customers for life. It all starts with a great sales experience while giving every customer One Low Price, Plain and Simple, Always. Whether you are 18 or 80, female or male, every customer will always get the same Best Price. Posting our Best Price on every new and used vehicle on our lot supports our philosophy.

 

What supports that we are truly giving every customer our Best Price? We know the competition shops our dealership and is very aware of our selling prices. They also recognize that we do not negotiate and that the price on the vehicle is our absolute lowest selling price. A customer could offer one dollar less than our Best Price and we will simply reiterate that we are truly a Best Price dealership, leaving no room to lower our price or throw in free items in the purchase transaction. With this knowledge the competition could very easily through negotiating beat our pricing if they elected to do so. We know however, they will not consistently choose to do this. They can not.

 

Why you may ask? There are two key philosophies: 1. Sales Consultant Compensation and 2. Different Business Philosophies.

 

Philosophy #1 | Sales Consultant Compensation

In a non-Best Price dealership, the Sales Consultants are paid a commission, which means they are paid a percentage of the profit of the sales transaction. Ultimately, the primary goal of the Sales Consultant is to sell the vehicle to the customer for as much as possible. The more they sell it for the more they sell it for the more the Sales Consultant makes.

 

When forced to match our pricing, the Sales Consultants, paid on commission, make a very small income on the sale. So they typically will only meet our pricing if forced to do so. In comparison, our Sales Consultants are NOT paid on commission. So, it doesn't matter to them that we elect to consistently sell our vehicles at smaller margins. The primary focus of our Sales Consultants compensation plans is based on how satisfied you are with your sales experience, which is measured by the manufacture through a survey sent directly to you the customer. With this type of compensation, our Sales Consultants are focused on making sure through proper counseling that they find the right vehicle that fits your wants and needs, while also meeting your budget. Ultimately, their only goal is for you to have a great sales experience.

 

Your next question might be if you can consistently sell your vehicle at lower prices why can't the competition?

Philosophy #2 | Different Business Philosophies

This answer lies in our business philosophy. Our business philosophy is all about volume. Starting with vehicle sales, then with every product and service we represent. It is critical with our Best Price selling philosophy that we retain our customers to utilize all of our products and services. We believe that the only way to do this is through great customer experiences while providing our services. After the sale of the vehicle, the many departments and products that we are committed to having available to you at competitively Best Pricing for your convenience are:
 

                                                      

By having all of our products competitively prices and conveniently available makes the purchasing and maintaining of your vehicle plain and simple with us. Wanting to provide these services is really the key to our philosophy. We are in the automotive business! Not just the business of vehicle sales! Unlike most dealerships that provide some of these services as a requirement to selling vehicles, we want your automotive service business. The fact is most don't. This is the exact reason why the Goodyears, Firestones, K-Marts, Wal-Marts, the independently repair shops, etc. provide these services because the dealerships do not or they are not market competitive and lose this business. Their main goal is to sell vehicles and make all of their money on the sales of the vehicle. This is where we are different. We want this business and we provide all of these vehicle services at market competitive pricing. We're not that high priced dealership image. Along with competitive pricing, we provide these services with Chevrolet, Subaru, Honda, Nissan, and Hyundai Technicians. All of our technicians are trained to 100% of the manufactures training requirements. So you get great services, great pricing and factory trained technicians performing the services.

 

We believe that if you have a great buying experience while utilizing our aftermarket and business/finance services, you'll try our quick lube department. If you then have a great experience there, you will try our service and parts department. If you then have a great experience with them, you'll come back and buy another vehicle.



If you elect to choose Kupper Automotive as your premier automotive dealership, you will find one of two things.

  • One, you will confirm that we truly have continued to do what we say and give you once again our true Best Price or we no longer have great prices and we tried to take advantage of you. If you find this to be the case, you will leave and everything we've done up to this point will be lost.
